Occupants of a stolen vehicle fled the scene and left the car abandoned in a section of Newark's Central Ward Sunday morning.
The Essex County Sheriff’s Office units who were canvassing the area of Barclay and Montgomery streets found the green 2019 Toyota Rav 4 around 4:21 a.m.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number A39-LDP.
Police are looking to two black males who fled the vehicle and are wanted for several felonies around the county.
the incident remains under investigation.
