A female was among three suspects captured after a high-speed pursuit that ended in Newark's South Ward on Wednesday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, at around 3:19 a.m., police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on Elizabeth Avenue with occupants inside who were wanted for several robberies in the city.
Police say the driver sped away and led officers on a pursuit before that pass through several neighborhoods.
According to authorities, the pursuit ended in the area of Clinton and Peshine avenues, with all of the suspects bailing from the car.
Police say one suspect was immediately apprehended by police while units canvassed the area and found two others just before 3:40 a.m.
There were no serious injuries reported.
