Officials reported non-life threatening injuries for a pedestrian struck by a NJ Transit bus in Maplewood Saturday morning.
According to police, at around midnight, emergency responders were called to the intersection of Chancellor and Springfield to investigate reports of a person struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found the conscious and alert victim suffering injuries after the but struck them at that location.
Police say the injured was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
The incident is under investigation.
