Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 9:11 p.m. Saturday, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of 160 West Broadway in response to a report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officials said officers located Mr. Ravel Trejo, 32, from Paterson, lying on the sidewalk of Northwest Street directly behind 160 West Broadway, with apparent gunshot wounds.
Medical personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene and began treating the victim but Mr. Trejo succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene Passaic County officials said
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
