Police officials in Newark request the public’s help identifying two suspects captured on surveillance video taking several items from an unlocked automobile on May 26.
Officials said Newark Police responded to a report about a theft around 1 a.m. from an automobile parked at 60 Park Place.
Upon arrival, the victim told officers that he noticed personal belongings missing from his vehicle at 2:30 a.m.
According to police, the items included a wallet containing money, clothing, and footwear.
While detectives investigate this incident and seek the public’s help with identifying this suspect, Director O’Hara urges anyone with information about the individual to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
