Police in Englewood are investigating a stabbing incident that sent a man to the hospital on Sunday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 9:40 p.m., police responded to the vicinity of 9 Rock Creek Terrace to investigate reports of a person shot.
Units arrived and found an injured male with a knife at the scene, according to police.
Investigators swiftly determined that the victim was not shot but suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound.
He was transported to Hackensack University Medical center for treatment and is expected to recover.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
