Police reported no injuries in a shooting incident that occurred in Paterson on Wednesday night.
A ShotSpotter device activated in the area of 7th Avenue and McClean Boulevard around 11:20 p.m. alerting police of a potential shooting.
Units arrived at the scene and found shell casings but after searching the area, no victims were located.
According to police, the suspect fired several rounds in the direction of several people who ran from the scene.
Police are now on the search for the suspects who are at large.
