Police in Plainfield are investigating an aggravated assault that took place on Monday evening
According to police, on May 10, at 6:51 pm, Plainfield Police units responded to the area of the 1100 block of West Third Street on a report of shots fired.
Police said that officers were able to locate a 20-year-old male victim. He was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at an area hospital.
