Police in Trenton are reporting non-fatal injuries for a child struck by a vehicle in a section of the city Monday evening.
In the investigation, police at approximately 5:40 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the area of South Clinton Avenue and Capner Street after learning of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found a child bleeding and suffering a head injury after a vehicle struck near the intersection.
EMS transported the child to an area hospital where doctors treated the victim's head injury.
The incident is under investigation.
