The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office are on the scene of a suspicious incident where police found a body wrapped in a tarp on the side of a highway in Bayonne this evening.
According to a preliminary investigation, police say the body of an unidentified person was found wrapped in a tarp on NJ-440 near 63rd Street before 8:25 p.m.
Police closed off the area while detectives investigate the circumstances behind the person’s death.
