Police in Newark requests the public’s help with locating Ms. Laura Harrell, 26, of Newark, who is wanted for aggravated assault after cutting a woman with a knife and damaged a car with a baseball bat on Saturday, March 27th.
Officials said Newark Police responded to a call about a stabbing in progress around 7:05 p.m. on Brookdale Avenue.
When officers arrived, the victim told police that she was in a car with another woman when Harrell, whom they know, began hitting the vehicle with a baseball bat.
Police said the two women got out of the car and tried to stop Harrell, who cut one of them with a knife.
According to police, Harrell is described as 5’4” and 140 pounds with brown eyes, black and red hair, and a dark complexion.
