Passaic Police reported that two pedestrians suffered non-fatal injuries after they were struck on Thursday evening in the city.
Authorities said the incident happed around 6:50 p.m. near Jefferson Street and Hamilton Avenue.
According to the investigation, a silver or light-colored vehicle stuck the victims then sped from the scene.
EMS arrived and declared that the victims' injuries were non-life-threatening.
Police are currently looking for the driver of the car.
