The State police are investigating a car accident that occurred on I-295 on Monday morning.
According to state police officials, a Chevrolet Cruze that was traveling southbound went off the roadway to the right, near milepost 47.4 in Burlington Township.
Police say that the vehicle entered the grass median, traveled across the exit ramp, exited the roadway and struck several trees. As a result, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames.
Officials say that the driver Samantha Gregor, 25, of Folcroft Township, PA, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles or passengers were involved and the accident remains under investigation.
