A vehicle left running in Passaic was easily stolen by a thief who is now wanted by police.
In the incident, police say the owner of a 2012 Mustang left the car running in the area of Monroe Street and Hope Avenue when a male suspect entered the vehicle and sped away around 7:35 p.m.
The stolen car has a reported NJ temp tag license plate number "V835503."
Police say the incident is under investigation and they are reminding Passaic residents never to leave unoccupied vehicles running.
