Police in Jersey City are looking for an armed suspect who fired shots at a woman in Jersey City Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of Woodland Avenue and Concoran Street.
Upon arrival, police found a female victim who reported that a male that she knows pulled a gun and fired at least one round in her direction.
Police on the scene were able to locate evidence that a shooting occurred, but after they search the area, no victims were found, according to police.
According to police, the suspect was only described as a black male who wore all black clothing and had shoulder-length dreads.
