Union Police have officially released the cause of death of a man found shot in a car in the Township.
Police officials have confirmed with RLS Media that this was a suicide and will not be releasing any additional information.
The preliminary reports for this incident said that at approximately 3:10 p.m., police were called to the rear parking lot of the Sabra's Supermarket located at 1350 Galloping Hill Road in Union to investigate reports of an unconscious person inside a vehicle.
Police found the vehicle with the unconscious person suffering from what appeared to be gunshot injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released at this time
