There is an active search underway for a woman who went missing from a neighborhood in Newark's South Ward Wednesday night.
According to police, Ms. Evelyn Claudio, 28, was last seen in the vicinity of Fabyan and Clinton Avenue around 10:13 p.m.
Police say Claudio reportedly took the garbage at 8:41 p.m. for her home in the 200 block of Seymour, then walked up to West Runyon and Bergen streets, where she vanished and hasn't been seen since.
She was last observed wearing a long grey coat, black boots with thick heels and has a learning liabilities.
