In Irvington, police officials are reporting no injuries in an armed carjacking that occurred in a section of the Township Monday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation by police, municipalities in the Essex County region were notified to be on the lookout for a black 2017 Honda Accord that was carjacked in the vicinity of Union and Clinton avenues around 5:46 p.m.
Police say two black male suspects approached the victim armed with guns drawn and demanded the vehicle.
According to police, the suspects wore all black with macks when they sped away from the scene.
They are considered armed and dangerous, police said.
