EMS transported a male victim to the hospital suffering from a serious head injury overnight in the city.
Police responded to the 300 block of Washington Ave. shortly before 10:30 p.m. where the victim was reportedly found unconscious and bleeding from the head.
The man was taken to St. Josephs Hospital in Paterson where his condition is unknown as of this morning.
An investigation is underway into whether the man was assaulted or if he fell and struck his head.
