Monmouth County authorities are looking into the motive for a shooting that injured a person in Wall Township overnight.
According to police, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured person in the 2400 block of NJ-35.
When units arrived at the scene, they found an unidentified person suffering a bullet wound in their leg at that location.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment while police search the area for other victims and suspects.
There were no other injuries and no arrests reported.
