An Elizabeth woman was stabbed by her girlfriend during a domestic dispute over the weekend, police said today.
Police were called to the Mravlag Manor housing complex at approximately 10:54 p.m., Lt. Daniel Geddes said.
Upon arrival, police found a 41-year-old woman had been stabbed with a kitchen knife inside bldg. 41, Geddes added.
The victim who suffered minor injuries according to police, was transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The attacker, a 36-year-old woman, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
