PSE&G utility crews were called to the scene of an electrical fire ignited at a supermarket in Union Township on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the small blaze happened underground at the ShopRite on Route 22 just before 6:20 p.m.
Firefighters arrived and found smoke but no fire extended to the supermarket, according to reports.
The store was evacuated as a precaution as fire officials investigate the cause of the small fire.
The cause is under investigation.
