Police took a male suspect into custody and charged him with weapons possession after a shots-fired incident occurred in the city's West Ward on Sunday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 1083 18th Avenue around 11 p.m.
Units arrived at this scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were found after police searched the area.
Police say they confiscated two weapons and one shell casing during the arrest.
There were no injuries reported.
