Police in East Orange are reporting non-fatal injuries fr a gunshot victim found in a section of the city during Tuesday night.
According to police, police responded to reports of a person shot in the vicinity of 234 Arlington Avenue before 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, units found a male victim suffering a gunshot wound in his leg at that location.
The victim was transported to University Hospitals in Newark for treatment and is expected to recover.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
