The Chelsea Senior Living Center will be utilized as a warming center today and tomorrow, police announced.
The Weather Service has predicted very low temperatures for all day today into tomorrow.
To help those in need of heat, The Chelsea Senior Living Center - located at 295 South Avenue - will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for any resident that may lose power or don’t have heat.
If you need transportation to the Warming Station please call the Fanwood Police Department and we will make arrangements for you. When visiting a relief station, bring any medications and/or specialty items that you may need. Residents and visitors are urged to limit exposure outside. Please check on your elderly neighbors, and advise them of the warming station at the Chelsea and to contact the Fanwood Police Department in the event of an emergency.
