Police reported fatal injuries for a pedestrian struck on an NJ highway on Thursday night.
According to Burlington County officials, it happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of NJ-73 in Maple Shade.
Police say the victim was on the highway when a car traveling around 55 mph struck them at that location. Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officers closed several lanes on the highway for the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
