Police in Newark issued a be on the lookout for several suspects wanted for an attempted carjacking in the city's North Ward on Sunday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, the woman reported that sometime before 12:45 a.m., two vehicles attempted to block her car in the vicinity of 1st street and Park Avenue.
The woman reported that both cars were occupied by a male suspect who then attempted the carjacking.
According to reports, the woman managed to escape then led the suspects on a short pursuit that ended when she pulled up at the Orange Street ESU police station.
Police say they are looking for a grey 2011 Ford Taurus with a possible NJ licenses plate numbed "L75-LDS". According to police, the other suspected car was only described as dark-colored with tinted windows.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large. Police say no physical injuries were reported.
