Police in Paterson are reporting non-life threatening injuries for a shooting victim who entered a hospital in the city early Wednesday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officials at St. Joseph's Hospital notified police when a male victim entered the emergency room.
The victim told police that bullets struck him after gunfire rang out in the area of North 10th and Temple streets.
Police searched the neighborhood and found shell casings, but there were no other injuries reported.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
