There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident in a section of Jersey City on Wednesday night.
According to police, several rounds of gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 138 Myrtle Avenue shortly before 10:20 p.m.
Police say officers arrived and found shell casings, but no victims were found after a thorough search of the neighborhood.
Authorities are looking for a dark-colored Nissan Rouge that was observed fleeing the area immediately after the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
