Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor announced an on-going fire investigation into the circumstances relating to the residential structural fire that occurred on Burnt Mill Road.
Prosecutor Robertson stated that on Tuesday, at approximately 6:20 a.m. a residential fire on Burnt Mill Road was reported via 9-1-1 to the Somerset County Communications Center by a passerby.
The North Branch Fire Chief was the first fire unit on scene and reported the structure was fully engulfed upon arrival.
North Branch Fire Company, along with Country Hills Fire Company and Green Knoll Fire Company responded to the scene.
The residence was determined to be an unoccupied residence and no injuries were reported.
