Police in Paterson are investigating a stabbing incident that sent one person to the hospital on Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 12:10 a.m., police were called to the vicinity of 315 Park Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person bleeding after being stabbed at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment while police investigated the motive for the stabbing.
The extent of the victim's injuries has not been immediately confirmed at this time.
