Burlington County officials are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a person on a highway in Woodland on Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to a crash near Route 70 east and Route 72 around 11:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, police say they found two vehicles involved in a violent collision with one of the cars ignited in flames at that location.
One person was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.
The cause of the collision has not been determined at this time.
