Passaic County authorities are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a male in Paterson on Wednesday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:55 p.m., gunfire rang out in the area of Governor and Summer streets, sending police officers to the scene to investigate
Upon arrival, officers found the unidentified victim suffering a bullet wound in their arm at that location.
Police said the victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
The suspect ran from the scene and remains at-large.
