Police in Newark are reporting the arrest of Mr. Maleak Williams, 21, of Newark for multiple armed robberies at two gas stations on August 3.
Police say Williams, who was taken into custody Thursday, robbed the Exxon and Sunoco gas station with three other armed male suspects in the 1400 block of McCarter Highway.
Police at each location, they stole money from the cash register before fleeing Southbound in a black Lexus.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
