Police in Newark request the public’s help in identifying several male suspects wanted in an armed robbery and shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 22.
According to police, at approximately 3:55 a.m., a man was robbed of his personal belongings before being shot in the 300 block of Goldsmith Avenue by three males.
Police say the suspects fled by entering an older model Silver Nissan Altima and heading southbound on Aldine Avenue.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained video footage of the suspects and sought the public’s help in quickly identifying them as part of their investigation.
