Police in Rahway are investigating a stabbing incident that injured two victims at a location in the city on Saturday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 8:20 p.m., police were called to the area of East Hazelwood Avenue and Thorn Street to investigate reports of an assault in progress.
Upon arrival, police found two victims suffering stab wounds at that location.
The injured were transported to an area hospital for treatment and there were no immediate reports of fatal injuries at this time.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation by the Rahway Police Department. No arrests have been reported.
