Newark Police officials are investigating a carjacking incident that occurred in the city’s South Ward Sunday morning.
Police say the suspect approached the victim in the 100 block of Clinton Avenue and stole the car before 7 a.m.
Police say the suspect sped away in the victim's 2000 Nissan Maxima and remain at-large.
The suspect was armed, but no injuries were reported.
