Jersey City Police are on the search for two suspects wanted for violent home invasion robbery that occurred in a section of the city Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to an address in the 200 block of Fulton Avenue to investigate reports of a burglary in progress around 4 a.m.
Upon officers' arrival, they found an injured resident who reported that a black male suspect and a Hispanic male forced entry into their home and then went on the attack.
Police say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident and the suspects ran from the scene.
According to authorities, it is not immediately clear if the suspects took anything form the victim or the home at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
