Emergency responders are on the scene of a pedestrian strike where a child is suffering severe injuries at a location in Fanwood.
According to preliminary reports, it happened near the intersection of LaGrande and Helen Street just before 10:10 a.m.
The unidentified teenage boy was riding his bike when a vehicle struck then pinned him under the car, according to on-scene reports.
A medivac helicopter transported the child to Robert Wood Johnson in serious condition.
LaGrande from 3rd Street to Hellen is closed for the investigation.
