Police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight sending two men from Howell to the hospital with serious injuries.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the single digit block of East Main Street shortly before 2 a.m. sending scores of first responders to the scene where they found the two men, 35 and 39-years of age, shot near the Metropolitan Cafe Restaurant.
EMS rushed both victims to Jersey Shore Medical Center suffering from serious gunshot wounds.
Police are looking for a 5'7" - 5'9" black male who who is said to be around the age of 20-25 years old with a thin build. The suspect reportedly has braided shoulder length hair and was wearing a dark sweat shirt.
A full investigation is underway by Freehold Police.
