There were serious injuries reported for a person found stabbed at a location in Linden on Tuesday evening.
It happened in the 400 block of Maple Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived at the scene and found the unidentified victim suffering a severe stab wound in their chest at that location. The victim was transported to the hospital in an unspecified condition.
Officers temporarily closed off the block for the crime scene investigation into the incident.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
