Man Wanted for Stealing Cash from Newark East Ward Business

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying an individual wanted for questioning in a theft that occurred on Wednesday, August 26.

Police say the theft occurred in the 300 block of South Street in Newark.

Video surveillance showed the suspect removing currency from the counter of the establishment, according to police.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium brown complexion and long dark hair.

Police say he wore a white short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes at the time of occurrence.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying this suspect as part of this investigation.
