Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 3:55 a.m. today, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Godwin Avenue and Summer Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival responding officers located a 31-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Officials said the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
