Police in Belleville are on the search for a suspect who held up a gas station in the city on Tuesday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:10 p.m., police were called to investigate reports of a robbery in progress at the Gulf service station located in the 300 block of Belleville Avenue.
Upon arrival, police were told by employees that a male suspect arrived at the business armed with a gun and demanded cash.
Police say the suspect took an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
