Police are reporting no injuries involved in a collision that caused a car to overturn in a section in Newark on Saturday evening.
It happened around 8:45 p.m., where the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into parked cars near the intersection on South 12th Street and 15th Avenue.
Police say the driver of the car managed to self-extricate before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
Residents said the neighborhood is prone to speeding vehicles and has requested from city officials that they step up patrol or provide safety/speed detection devices - such as speed bumps - in the area.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by The Newark Police Department.
