Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway in a border shooting incident that has Bloomfield Police on the lead at this time.
According to a preliminary investigation, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 1st Avenue and North 15th Street around 8:32 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the severely injured, unconscious and unresponsive victim suffering bullet wounds.
Police say emergency responders are providing CPR to the victim as police have the neighborhood taped off to check for evidence.
The suspects remain at-large.
There are no other injuries reported.
