Newark Police seek the public’s help with identifying an individual who is wanted for questioning about a theft that occurred on August 6.
According to police, at approximately 4:03 p.m., officers responded to a call about a theft that occurred on Garden Street, where a package was removed from the front door of a residence.
The suspect, who was captured on surveillance video, is described as 5’1” and 180 pounds and bald. He was wearing a black face mask, a dark-colored short sleeve shirt, light-colored sweatpants and gray sneakers.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s help so that he can be located.
