Police in Newark are looking into the cause of a crash that injured several people in a section of downtown Newark on Monday night.
According to police, at approximately 9:40 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Lafayette and Broad streets after they received reports of a crash with injures.
Upon arrival, police found several crashed vehicles with two victims suffering serious injuries, while two others suffered minor injuries, according to reports.
Police say all of the victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
