Police in Trenton are looking into the motive for a shooting that injured a man in a section of the city Sunday night.
According to police, units responded to the 600 block of West State Street after gunfire rang out in the area around 9:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his calf. Police say his injuries are non-life threatening.
Police say in a possibly unrelated incident, officials at Capital Health Trauma Center contacted police when a male entered the emergency department suffering bullet wounds.
Authoritities have not confirmed the location of the hospital walk-in shooting victim.
