Passaic County Police announced that at approximately 3:20 p.m. Friday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Fair Street and East 18th Street in Paterson, New Jersey, on a report of a shooting.
Officials said while units were responding, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 45-year-old male Paterson resident was en route via private vehicle to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police located a potential crime scene in the area of Fair Street and East 18th Street in Paterson.
The recent shooting victim was the third individual found shot in Paterson on Friday. The city has over 85 victims shot since January.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
